Today is the day. I can't take it anymore. My heat shield on my exhaust is DRIVING. ME. CRAZY. Anyone else's do that? I'm pulling the bed to investigate.

The only thing I could tell is that the shield was hitting on a big u bolt that is welded around the muffler that it used to mount to the frame. Looked like it was hitting on it two spots. I just took a big chisel and knocked it out around those two areas and so far it seems to have fixed it
My passenger door has a rattle inside that I haven't taken it apart to fix yet. Also the seatbelt, even buckled, has a rattle at the shoulder mount that makes me want to remove them.
The half windshield rattles at low speed as well as the OEM roof. Some, not all, of this is attributed to the 30" mud tires.
My seat belts rattled pretty bad too until I put about 6 small rubber washers from Tractor supply or HD on (3) both sides of the belt bracket and behind the nut on both SB mounts. Tighten them up so you can just twist them side to side. Also put rubber washers under all the ROPS bolts and nuts as well. It really helps. My machine is at the dealer for warranty work-a fuel gauge that sticks and is very inaccurate, a VERY sticky clutch that has gone from smooth to bullet-like takeoffs and an annoying tin rattle that sounds like the heat shield under the air box (which leaks dust worse than anything else I have ever seen. It will be interesting to see what the clutch looks like when the vent tubes are 1/8" deep with dust at the end of every day. A small piece of foam air cleaner material stops the problem. Any of those with the new RSX 860 air box have a gasket between the upper and lower and cure the dusty clutch issue? On a positive note the SE black door panels are finally here. Out looking at Can Am Commanders tonight. Looks like the Commander 800XT will be my summer ride this season.
that was actually my next look also director but note that Can-Am's front diff DOES NOT lock like polaris or JD. and in my experience with can-am they are good machines but if u need to use the 4wd u need to have it wide open in order for all four wheels to turn. not the best for mud really but i really love the gator now that i have worked a few things out. by far the best on the market in the crossover style
